Capturing what matters most - Your Story, Your Way
Hi, I’m April – a Hertfordshire wedding photographer with a love for creating timeless, heartfelt images that tell your story exactly as it unfolds. Whether you’re planning a big celebration surrounded by family and friends or something intimate and personal, my aim is always the same: to capture the moments that matter most, so you can relive them for years to come.
I work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northamptonshire, with couples who value family, connection, and a touch of fun. My style is elegant, cinematic, and filled with genuine emotion – perfect for laid-back couples who still appreciate the little details.

MEET YOUR
PHOTOGRAPHER
I never set out to become a photographer. In fact, I first picked up a camera because I wanted better photos of my four children (including cheeky twins!). What began as a personal passion quickly became something much bigger – a way to connect with people, celebrate love, and capture memories that last a lifetime.
Before photography, I was a community nurse, often supporting patients in end-of-life care. I’ll never forget how a single photograph on the wall could spark a memory, a story, or a smile. That experience shaped how I approach my work today – with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding that photos aren’t just pictures, they’re part of your family’s story.
My couples describe me as easygoing and adaptable, someone who fits right in with their day. I thrive in the laughter, the chaos, and the little moments in between. Whether I’m gently guiding you into the best light or blending into the background while you dance with your nan, my focus is always on you and your people.
A FEW FUN FACTS
ABOUT ME
I have four amazing children, aged 4–15.
My middle child has ASD and is home educated – which has taught me patience, flexibility, and a love of seeing the world differently.
I’ve worked in nursing, local councils, holiday parks, and even on cruise ships. People skills? Check!
I drink far too much tea and will never say no to cake at a wedding.
